Mouth Treasure (口寶)

The origins of the mouth treasure (口寶) comes from a very ancient funeral custom which dates back to the Qing Dynasty. 

The traditional Chinese custom is to store gold beads, silver beads or silver coins in the mouths of their ancestors, which ensures the ancestors' mouths is sweet and their eyes closed, and all the descendants will prosper.
